This camp is geared towards students that have some horse experience and would like to learn more about horse care and management. Beginners week was a huge hit, starting in 2019 we will offer multiple weeks.

Each week/day will have different themes; show prep, injury care, feeding, conditioning, ect. There will be a few weeks with horse shows during the week or ending the week.  These are an extra fee.

Each day will start with morning horse chores.  This includes stall cleaning, turnout/turn-in, and other tasks.  Next the kids will get to have their morning riding time of about 45 minutes. The lesson will work on the theme of the week.   Beginner students will have a mini lesson.  Lunch will follow morning rides.

The afternoon activities will vary depending on weather and what the kids want to do.  On hot days we head out to our brook for some wading.  Afternoon riding is an option as well, bareback, games, ect.   Rainy days will have indoor activities.  Each week will also have an art related horse activity.  This will range from painting horse brushes, making horseshoe picture frames, tie-dying, ect.

We will be welcoming some new horses into our program in 2019.  We will have the ability to have more campers!
